Query by Stacy A:
My brother has absent to 3 evaluations (all of which have lasted no far more than a half hour) and has been diagnosed with a small, small circumstance of autism. I truly will not feel this is plenty of time to get to know a youngster and make a correct diagnosis.

How old is your brother? Most evaluations take time. Our first appointment lasted over two hours, we’ve had follow up appointments since then and each appointment took at least an hour. Also, who is doing the evaluations? The appointments I just mentioned were with a developmental pediatrician and pediatric neurologist. In addition, there are also appointments with other specialist such as behavioral analysts, physical, occupational and speech therapists. All who are trained in looking for a symptoms in children who are in the autism spectrum.
